Getting to Vail

The closest airport is Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE), about 35 minutes from Vail.

Alternatively, Denver International Airport (DEN) is roughly 2.5 hours by car and often has more flight options.

Around Town

Shuttle details between the hotel, welcome party, and wedding venue will be shared as the weekend gets closer.

If you plan to rent a car, note that Vail sits at about 8,150 ft — mountain driving conditions can change quickly, even in July.

While You're in Town

Activities

A few ways to spend your time in Vail before and after the celebration.

Gondola to Eagle's Nest

Ride Gondola One up Vail Mountain for sweeping views, hiking trails, and an alpine coaster.

Golf at Vail Golf Club

Play a round at the same club hosting our reception, set right along Gore Creek.

Hike Booth Falls

A moderate trail leading to a 60-foot waterfall — one of the best short hikes in the valley.

Explore Vail Village

Wander the cobblestone streets, boutiques, and patios of Vail Village and Lionshead.

Vail Farmers Market

If your visit lines up with a Sunday, don't miss the market along Meadow Drive.

Betty Ford Alpine Gardens

The highest botanical garden in North America, a short walk from Vail Village.

Good to Know

FAQ

What should I wear?

Cocktail attire is suggested. Vail evenings can be cool even in July, so a light jacket or wrap is a good idea.

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the wedding party's children.

What's the weather like in Vail in July?

Expect warm, sunny days around 75°F and cooler evenings closer to 45°F. Afternoon mountain showers are common, so we recommend packing layers.

Vail is at high elevation — any tips?

Vail sits at about 8,150 feet. If you're not used to altitude, drink plenty of water, take it easy the first day, and go light on alcohol until you've acclimated.

Is there parking at the venues?

Yes, and shuttle details will be shared closer to the date for anyone who'd rather not drive.

Who do I contact with questions?
